Pakistan awarded ‘Big 4’
rank by ICC over empowering ‘Big 3’
Significant developments
emerged on Thursday (today) just after appointment of suspended Indian
cricket chief
Narayanaswami Srinivasan as new
ICC chairman, PCB has been awarded ‘Big-4′ rank in ICC.
According
to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), 15 per cent revenue would be given to the
Pakistani cricket board for next two years which will make Pakistan the
major revenue holder after ICC’s Big 3.
Pakistan
has also been awarded with six series with arch-rival neighbouring country
India likely to be played during 2015 to 2023 on different venues.
Reports
revealed that the four series would be hosted by Pakistan on neutral venue in
United Arab Emirates (UAE) while India will welcome Pakistan in his home
grounds in rest of the two series.
